个人简介南京大学生命科学学院院长、教授、博士生导师,国家级高层次人才项目获得者,中国医学科学院学术咨询委员会学部委员。长期从事RNA生物医学基础与工程应用研究、内分泌代谢的生理与病理生理研究,在国际上率先发现功能性细胞外RNA,系统揭示其生物学意义及其在病理生理学作用,原创研发基于“细胞外RNA”的重大疾病诊疗技术并实现转化;开创的国际“细胞外RNA”研究新领域,突破了“RNA功能仅限细胞内”的经典认知,被美国国立健康研究院(NIH)称为“改变科学范式”的前沿方向。在Cell、Cell Research等学术期刊发表论文372篇,他引62104次(H指数113),其中“发现细胞外小RNA”的论文单篇他引逾6000次,产生重大国际学术影响;获得158项国际国内发明专利授权,75项实现转化,包括:全球首款血清小RNA肿瘤诊断试剂盒,获批并大规模应用;全球首个突破血脑屏障的小核酸原研药,已获中美双批进入临床试验;以第一完成人获国家自然科学二等奖、教育部一等奖(2项)和谈家桢生命科学奖。 研究方向1.
